GENERAL ARMADOR SPECIFICATION

The ARMADOR has been designed as a security / fire exit steel door set consisting of the following;

• 1.6mm Zintec internal and external (attack) faces manufactured from cold reduced steel sheet and coil electrolytically coated with a uniform, tightly adherent deposit of pure zinc. The steel substrate conforms to BS 1449: Part 1: 1983. Zintec conforms to BS 6687: 1986.
• Overall door thickness of 45mm with reinforced leaf and frame sections
• Anti crow bar lip on three edges to protect the door set from attack. This also minimises any draught, light and reduces acoustic transmission.
• Solid core leaf insulation by means of polyurethane, which ensures a lightweight and very rigid design to the door leaf. This also ensures total adhesion between the two steel faces and is also a highly efficient insulation material (similar to sectional overhead doors).
• Two number leaf retaining pins per leaf, which lend added security to the existing locking mechanism. These actually insert into the doorframe and would hold the door into the frame in the event that the hinges were sheared away.
• Two number heavy duty security hinges per door leaf, which are security screw fixed and dowelled the door leaf.
• All doors manufactured to exact site sizes to ensure the best possible fit.
