ARMASAFE STEEL DOOR AND FRAME ASSEMBLIES

The ARMASAFE has been designed as a security / fire exit steel door set requiring the minimum of maintenance. The door set meets high standards consisting of the following;

• 2.0mm Zintec external (attack) face manufactured from cold reduced steel sheet and coil electrolytically coated with a uniform, tightly adherent deposit of pure zinc. The steel substrate conforms to BS 1449: Part 1: 1983. Zintec conforms to BS 6687: 1986.
• 1.6mm Zintec internal face manufactured from cold reduced steel sheet and coil electrolytically coated with a uniform, tightly adherent deposit of pure zinc. The steel substrate conforms to BS 1449: Part 1: 1983. Zintec conforms to BS 6687: 1986
• Overall door thickness of 42mm with reinforced leaf and frame sections
• Anti crow bar lip on three edges to protect the door set from attack. This also minimises any draught, light and reduces acoustic transmission
• Re-inforced leaf & frame section are standard with the ARMASAFE door set with steel bars running along the length of the door to ensure an highly rigid door set giving a high level of security.
• Solid core leaf insulation by means of LR45 mineral wool, which ensures a lightweight and very rigid design to the door leaf. This is also an highly efficient insulation material in regular use within the construction industry.
• 3 Number Welded Leaf Retaining Hinge Blocks to ensure that the door leaf and the frame are secure when the door os closed.
• A minimum of three number high security hinges per door leaf, which are welded to the door leaf to ensure maximum security to this vulnerable area.
